86 with diabetes and mild dementia

My Father is 86.  He has diabetes s as nd mild dementia.  I am  concerned about paying his credit card debt. Can I ensure him?

Hi Michelle,

While there are life insurance companies for seniors over 85, none of them will approve someone with dementia.

I'd highly recommend that you take whatever you were willing to spend on insurance for him and reliably put it into a savings account. That's all you can do at this point.
