Are there age limits to purchase final expense insurance

Hi Jc-

The absolute oldest you can buy a new final expense policy is 90.

Remember though that it varies based on your state and health. For
example, if you live in New York, 85 is the oldest any company offers a
new policy.

Or if you live in a state where an age 90 company is available, you
may or may not qualify based on your health. For example, if you’re 86
and on dialysis, there are companies that offer a new policy at that
age, but they would all decline you due to the dialysis.
